What is LOGISELECT?
This is an automatic service that applies to calls to interstate, overseas and mobiles from your home phone. The advantage is that you don't have to remember to dial a prefix to use our service. You can however override this service if you first dial a different Telecom company's prefix. Please note for local calls you need to dial 1414 or 1428 to use our low rates.

What is LOGIFIX?
This service requires you to dial the prefix 1414 or 1428 before calling any number. If you don't dial the prefix you will be billed by your current Telecom company (eg. Telstra, Optus, etc.) and will not benefit from our low call rates.

How are LONG DISTANCE CALLS handled?

A LOGISELECT customer :. Long distance and mobiles – To use LOGITEL just dial your number. (no prefix). Long distance and mobiles. To use Telstra dial their Prefix 1411 first.

A LOGIFIX Customer :. Long distance and mobiles – To use LOGITEL dial prefix 1414 or 1428 before the no.. Long distance and mobiles. To use Telstra leave out the Logitel prefix


How is billing done?
Here is how it works:
• The first 3 sec you are not charged (in case the line drops suddenly)
• If you connect you are charged a 29 cents flagfall
• Then every 1 sec increment you are charged. (not every 30sec) For example if you make a call for 10 sec, you will be charged flagfall + 10sec charge (not flagfall + 30sec like many other Telecom companies charge)

What does flag-fall mean?
Is it an establishment charge for a call – i.e. immediately your connection is made you will be charged the flag-fall & the clock will start counting your call time.

Can I access the service from anywhere in Australia ?
Yes you can. Please call us for more details.

Are there any other charges apart from calls ?
No, Logitel doesn't charge any administration or rental charges.

Do I need any special equipment to use Logitel's service ?
No, any normal home phone is fine.

Can I disconnect at any time ?
Yes, you can disconnect at any time. Just call and let us know.

Will I get separate bills from you & Telstra ?
Yes, all calls that have used our prefix (either through Logiselect or Logifx) will be billed by us, all others will be billed by your local Telecom provider; including rental fee and calls to 1800, 1300 and 13 numbers.

Can I still use my current Long Distance provider ?
Yes with Logifix you can dial whichever code is right for you. Choose 1414 or 1428 to use us to call Greece , and say 1411 to use Telstra to call Cairns.

Which payment methods do you have ?
Cheque, Credit card, Post Billpay, Post office, BPAY, Direct Credit.

Will I get a bill every month ?
No, if you spend less than $15 in a month we will not bill you until your total is over $15 or the end of the quarter like Telstra.

Can I change from the cheap Logiselect plan to the Logifix plan at the same rates so I can use the prefix codes option ?
Yes, provided you have been a client for 2 months & are spending >$20/mth

Do you have staff who speak my language ?
Yes, we speak Greek, Turkish, Serbian and many other languages. Please ask when you make your call.
